Default new warrior attribute and wep

plainly simple to cut a long convo short,

a Mace

attribute - Malice
some skills-

Spiked Swing 5e 10r - You deal 1....42 dmg to target foe, All adjacent foes suffour bleeding for 3....18sec

Whirling Wack (Elite) 10e 15r For 4...10 seconds each Attack is +10dmg

definition of malice from dictionary.net

. (Law) Any wicked or mischievous intention of the mind; a depraved inclination to mischief; an intention to vex, annoy, or injure another person, or to do a wrongful act without just cause or cause or excuse; a wanton disregard of the rights or safety of others; willfulness.

just a idea probs gona get rejected and not signed but i think its cool anyways, little thom at last would have some use lol

EDIT

perhaps remove hammer mastery and name it as a neutral attribute and perhaps incorperate maces into that, add a few skills and sorted hammer mastery might be used more than it is currently due to maces

The warrior already has 5 attributes (no profession has 6 atributes atm, I think) so adding one might be a bit too much.

I'd like to see some maces in the game but incorporating them into hammer mastery might not work out: the fighting styles differ greatly, maces are one-handed as far as I know. They'd also require seperate animations (probably).

I love the idea of an attribute called malice, makes me wanna put a sup rune and max it out. Maybe this could inspire a new proffession of mace weilders.

Hmmm... Well i do play a warrior so that is intriguing. However if they add a new weapon to us than it would only be fair to add a new weapon type for other classes. Mace would be a nice change to the game though. Don't agree with the 1-42 dmg. But it would be nice as a AoE wep. They could give the assassins nunchucks. that would be sweet!

I don't know there seems to be enough warriors already and adding another weapon will jsut bring more warriors and then theirs ganna be alot more warriors that don't know how to play :S.

But I like how you thought of it gj their.

it is a bludgening weapon. Lose hammer add Bludgon..en..eon (Spell check) and then they could also add mace and flail. I believe though that the weapon shown is a flail (its on a chain) and a mace is like a ball hammer for one hand. But i could be wrong. Also why arent there one handed hammers there were in the medievel times, they could be lower in damage but allow a shield.

~the rat~

this isnt made as an advertisement for the site but i googled and found one that had both weapons

edits to spellings and addy))

Yeah, I think it's a flail. Or a morning star more technically, because it's spiked.

Anyway, why would the attribute be called Malice? All the other warrior attributes are named after their weapon: Swordsmanship (a word that has to do with using swords, actually), Hammer Mastery (because there's no such word as Hammermanship, I suppose) and Axe Mastery.

Other classes have similar attributes: Dagger Mastery for, guess what, daggers. And Spear Mastery for spears. So why wouldn't it be called "Mace Mastery," or, more accurately, "Flail Mastery"?

Many hammers were onehanded as well in history, while flails (a mace is NOT a flail) could be very interesting to use in terms of game mechanics. Flails have trhe advantage that they cant be blocked that easily ( at least when wielding a shield) so using a flail would reduce blocking chance of target. Problems with flails are that the can harm adjacent allies as well on occasion.

SO starlite sunset shows a flail or morning star NOT a mace

Warriors have already a complete set of weapons.

The only change I would make to warrior would be to separate the weapon type from the attribute type, like this:

- Hammer mastery -> Two handed mastery. (Two handed Sword, Axes and Hammers)
- Axe mastery -> Heavy weapon mastery. (Big one handed sword, axes and hammers)
- Sword mastery -> Light weapon mastery. (small one handed swords, axes and hammers)

That way, without making almost no change to the metagame, you'll be able to have two handed axes and swords and one handed hammers.

Currently, the only one handed blunt weapon is the Jitte.
That way there could be more.

If they add Mace Mastery we might aswell give just copy the entire Diablo warrior... hell, why not give it Polearm Mastery while we're at it.

3 weapon sets is enough.

I like the idea of getting more weapons.. although warriors have way too many attributes atm imo.. Unless you add extra attributes/weapons to other classes as well..

It wouldn't mind if warriors could able to weild 2 handed swords.. like a claymore
